Adam Lloyd is Head of Internal Communications at Ericsson. He joined in 1997 and is responsible for employee communication across the UK and Ireland. He is leading a communications programme using new-media methods including web collaboration, social media and TV content to ensure all communication is timely, consistent and easy to understand. |

From his experience as a creative designer Bryan has always had a passion for digital media. His first introduction to DOOH media came in 2000 while working with MarketSource Corporation in developing the nations first university based digital signage network called Campus Central. As Director of New Media Initiatives, Bryan was instrumental in developing the program and creating a media strategy, which helped generate ad revenue of upwards to 2 million. After leaving MarketSource in 2002, Bryan went on to form the retail media consultancy OpenEye where he presently servers as the companies Director of Strategy & Development. From the start OpenEye experienced global success. In 2005 the company expanded it's operation into London (UK) & Auckland (NZ) and was also awarded one of the first ever DIGI Awards for their work with Regency Duty Free. OpenEye's success continued having worked with such high-profile clients as 3M, FITCH, American Eagle Outfitters, Banco Santander, McDonald's New Zealand, Vodafone and HESS Corporation. In 2008 behind Bryan's efforts OpenEye was instrumental in developing a digital wayfinding application for the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History. The project has been recognized throughout the industry having been awarded a 2008 DIGI Award as well as receiving a 2009 MUSE Award from the American Assoc. of Museums. In early 2010 Bryan was influential in developing a partnership between OpenEye and the multi-disciplinary design firm Big Red Rooster. This opportunity has helped to further establish the identity and capabilities of the company. With over 10 years of experience Bryan has been recognized as an industry leader. He is currently part of the Advisory Board for the Digital Signage Expo and is active in speaking at various industry events. |
Bud O’Connor, Director of Engineering, Newseum (USA)

In 1996 O’Connor came to the Newseum from the television broadcast industry. In the decade prior, he worked within the engineering departments of ABC Network News and W*USA-TV, in Washington DC. O’Connor was brought on board to work on the design and implementation of the first Newseum in Arlington Va. In 2004 Bud became part of the team to design and develop the new Newseum on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. Open in April of 2008, the 250,000 sq ft Newseum sports magnificent exterior views of Washington, two HD Broadcast studios and control rooms, 14 major galleries, 15 theaters, 125 touch-screen systems and 28 discreet electronic signage monitors. Since its opening, Newseum has hosted some significant events and broadcasts. Some examples of these are: Clean Energy Summit with T. Boone Pickens, Al Gore and Bill Clinton; Saban Center for Middle East Policy with President George Bush; United Nations Foundation fund raiser with Ted Turner; Two major movie releases in its Annenberg Theater; Disney’s ‘Wall-E’; Fox Film’s ‘Secret Life of Bee’s’; Major broadcasts produced within Newseum are the weekly ABC News show ‘THIS WEEK With George Stephanopoulos, hosting ABC, CNN, FOX and Bloomberg network coverage of the presidential inauguration, and the NCAA Awards ceremony. |
Chris Heap, Managing Director, Imperative Group

Chris has been involved in the creation, deployment, management and effectiveness of DOOH networks (audio, visual and hybrid) for over 11 years and can claim to have worked on some of the largest and/or path-finding retail deployments in the UK. Chris is currently Managing Director of the Imperative Group, an independent network development and communications agency for the digital out of home sector which specialises in promoting, creating, developing and delivering cutting edge digital media networks that engage people when they are out of the home, whether they are travelling, shopping, relaxing or working. Selected clients include Scala (EMEA), St Ives PLC, Premier Retail Networks (Thomson PRN, U.S), St John Patrick, BTiNet, ROI Team and Sony Professional Solutions Europe. The Imperative Group is a member of POPAIdigital and Chris also sits on the management committee for POPAIdigital UK and on the Advocacy Steering Group in the U.S. He is also a contributor to the DailyDOOH and regularly writes for Marketing @ Retail Magazine in the U.S, AV Interactive and DDR magazines in the UK. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, holds a BA (Hons) in Consumer Psychology from Bristol University and lives in London with his wife Claire. |

Fiona Alexander joined the Trust as Director of Communications following 20 years in the media, most recently as editor of the regional morning newspaper The Birmingham Post. Her portfolio also includes patient and public involvement. Prior to this appointment she was Business Development Director (Midlands) for Trinity Mirror plc, the largest publisher in Europe; editor of the Sunday Mercury; editor of the Leicestershire Herald and Post newspaper series; assistant editor of MATCH football magazine and reporter on the Reading Chronicle. In 2002 Fiona graduated from the University of Central England with a Chartered Institute of Marketing Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing. She is a trustee of the Hippodrome Theatre and the National Institute of Conductive Education. |

He holds a Medical Degree, MSc in public policies, and is an MBA from Esade Business School. He is one of the main founders and CEO of Focus On Emotions, one of the leading digital signage and proximity marketing companies in Europe. He shares this work with his academic collaborations with Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Ramon Llull in the field of using new information technologies for business. He has been previously involved in other recent successful company ventures in the field of new solutions for marketing. John has been working at the University of Bedfordshire since 2003* as Computer Services Manager, overseeing a fleet of over 3,000 PCs and Macs across five campuses. In 2008, he assumed responsibility for the university's audio-visual systems. Since then, he has led a major investment programme; upgrading teaching spaces and standardising the university's disparate digital signage solutions. He has in-depth knowledge of a wide range of IT systems and is ITIL and PRINCE2 qualified. Recently, John has been working on several major projects, including extending the university's OneLan digital signage and audiovisual provision into the new £34m Campus Centre at Park Square. |

Kris Collins has been working at the University of Bedfordshire since 2002, most recently in the post of Online Marketing Manager and has primary responsibility for digital marketing aimed at recruitment. He has in depth knowledge and experience of externally aimed CRM, PPC and social media integration as well as internal communications. The most recent project has been an internal communications strategy for a unified digital signage network utilising a Onelan system in partnership with an internal IT working group. |

Marcus-Michael Müller, 40, is from the Lower Saxony in Germany. After studying Business Engineering, he worked for various national and international IT companies as head of marketing and product management. For the last 2 years he has been creating and building the video solutions department for Computacenter Germany, one of the largest IT system houses in Germany. These include centrally controlled digital advertising and information systems and video learning solutions. He knows the requirements for a digital signage solution from his own experience and from different perspectives: As Business Unit Manager for Video Solutions, he gave special importance to the technical implementation, rollout and easy management of systems in operation. Because of his previous work in marketing, he is also very familiar with the content requirements and is aware of the acceptance problems, the agencies or marketing departments have with the new media. |
